    My kid uses it regularly for her practices and concerts. She says its much better to play the music as she is not straining her shoulder or chin.

    It fits my 16" viola perfectly and is very comfortable. Relieves a lot of pressure from my shoulder and jaw, making it much more comfortable to play for longer periods of time. The padding is soft and the rest is sturdy. Not sure what it's like compared to more expensive rests, but I couldn't imagine needing anything more than this. The collapsible design makes it easy to fit in the case, as well.
