Nice sound - Easy to play
I bought this guitar 4 months ago and have played it nearly every day ranging from 5 minutes to 2 hours at a time. The body loosened up nicely and the sound is best explained as full, deep and mellow. It projects nicely too. I've recorded a few pieces with the microphone up close and about 2 feet away. Both distances create a wonderful full bodied tone even with my not-so-great recording equipment. I am very happy with this guitar and expect it will stay with me for life.

Full of scratches and dents
The sound is fantastic, but I'm shocked by the lack of quality control on this guitar. I was incredibly excited to receive the guitar, but it looks so worn out and used! The body and waist and the guitar is full of scratches, dents, and cracks. There's even a disgusting forearm smudge. t's appalling that Guitar center would sell this guitar as new. For this price range, better care should be taken in giving customers what they're paying for. Lesson learned, returning this guitar and finding a better supplier.

I've been looking for an upgrade for my Yamaha CGX 111 SCA. I wanted the deep, subtle bass sound of a cedar-top guitar. When compared with the Cordoba C12 CD, the Solea just seems more true and honest. Maybe it's the European tradition and the superb workmanship. This is really the best guitar money can buy without going for a Luthier-made custom guitar.
I would buy this guitar again and highly recommend it.

Although I have played guitar for over 50 years, I have only recently started studying classical guitar. I bought two other guitars before purchasing my Kremona. It was the most beautiful of all the guitars in the acoustic room at GC. But it's beauty is matched by the tones it produces. Deep rich bass notes and true-ringing highs! I could not have found a better guitar than this Solea!!!! And, it comes with a very sturdy hard-shelled case.

Played the Kremona and Cordobas today in Carson City NV. Both are great, I own a Cordoba and love it...but that kermona series of guitar was on another level. Easy to play, not tight, not loose, perfect action. Only thing it got out of time after 10 minutes, but that's ok. The string were new, and it was under lock and key bc of the $$$ tag. Awesome playing guitar
Absolutely Beautiful Guitar! Sounds great too!

I just received my Solea SA-C guitar in the mail and I could not be happier with how beautiful this instrument is! I am quite literally blown away by the beautiful wood grain of the cocobola back and sides! The fit and finish seems very good although there are a few small imperfections that you can find if you look close but overall this guitar is a gem. I've never owned a classical guitar before and ordered this one after doing some research. I did not want a Chinese made guitar and I wanted all solid wood. I first ordered a Cordoba Solista but it was back ordered so I cancelled and ordered this Solea and I'm happy I did because it's simply gorgeous and sounds exactly how I had imagined it would. It's pretty loud and has a nice mellow balanced tone I would say. It sounds sweet to put it simply!
What a gorgeous instrument!

I've only been playing guitar for about 10 months, so, frankly, I had no business buying this guitar. But once I saw a picture of it, I was in love. I went to Guitar Center Springfield, NJ (thank you, Pedro, for some awesome customer service) and unboxed 11 different guitars and hit the jackpot on no. 10. The cocobolo back is absolutely amazing. When I got it home to play it I was blown away. Beautiful craftsmanship and fine materials produce balanced tones and full sound. So, like I said, I had no business buying this guitar, but it sounds amazing, looks great and I love it. I look forward to developing into it.

How is the string action compared to other classical guitars like Yamaha GC32 or Cordoba C12? Is it higher or lower, or similar?
They're all very similar.
