Changed the strings to low G and took off the pickup. The action is perfect and it sounds great! I love this uke! Easy to play and feels good. I can't imagine a better instrument.

I started taking ukulele lessons (by Zoom) at the start of the pandemic, using an inexpensive concert ukulele. After almost a year I, and my teacher, felt that the cheap instrument was holding me back. I wanted a tenor that I could set up with a low G, something that would be more of a pleasure to play. I splurged on this, and put a D'Addario NYL028W Silver-plated Copper Classical Single String, .028 on for my low G (and it fit perfectly, without having to file the nut). It has wonderful sustain and wonderful tone, especially noticeable when plucking individual strings. I like to use a strap, so I had to have buttons put on it, but that was easily enough done. It comes set up just a little high, but I like that (another reviewer filed down the nut to get it where he wanted it, but I haven't felt the need or desire to do that). It comes with a very nice case hard case (though I wish I could put a strap on the case, so I could sling it over my shoulder to free up a hand). I haven't used the pickup yet, so I can't comment on that. I'll keep my cheap concert uke for camping trips, but it's hard to go back to that old instrument after playing this beauty.

I bought this Ukulele after I bought a Kremona Guitar and was impressed by the build quality. I was not disappointed in my choice. This is a beautiful instrument. It has good sustain and is a joy to play.

Beautiful instrument: love the oval sound hole, perfectly matched back, and "not the usual Martin-type" rosewood head stock. Melodious, harp-like sound when strummed. Good sustain, clear notes. The action in mine was just right.

  • Absolutely love this ukulele!

Switched the strings to Worth Brown low g. Lowered the action at the nut a bit, now it plays like butter. Sweet sounding and playing ukelele. In my opinion this is a pro level instrument.
