Description

The Kramer 84 Electric Guitar features The Illusionist Custom Graphic for a look that will mesmerize before a single note is played. This eye-catching 3D black/white swirl is a Kramer exclusive graphic with a body design that honors Kramer's first golden age. Featuring a lightweight alder body, a slim maple neck and a Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo for superior sonic sculpting, the 84 Illusionist is equipped with a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker for searing rock tone. Additional features include a push/pull volume control for series/parallel switching, a Floyd Rose R2 1000 series locking nut for tuning stability, an EVH D-Tuna and a Floyd Rose LRT-L40 Trem Stop. A premium gig bag is included for portable protection between rehearsal and performance.

    Its a nice guitar, made in Indonisia, but a bit pricy. I was able to get a 15% discount with a trade in...but still a lot. The neck is great, as is the pick up. The action is set medium low and feels good. The frets are rounded with no snagging...and the weight is just right. The one negative is the actual graphic...its the thing that caught my attention....but up close it just doesnt have the crispness you expect when looking at it from a distance. Overall I am pleased with it but when I compare it to my EVH red stripe ax, the EVH comes out on top.
