Excellent action and playability. Love the double locking tremelo system. Sweet and speedy neck with easy access to upper frets.

I have had 2 of these Kramers and both of them had to be returned due to poorly made bridges. I have heard people mention upgrading the Floyd rose but for the price you pay for this guitar I feel that shouldn't be necessary especially after 3 weeks of -combined- ownership.

I had been playing for a while (about 9 months) and I thought that I would want a new guitar, and this one seemed cool. But when I ordered it and it arrived, multiple problems surfaced. First, when I plugged it in, I found that the audio jack was inside the V of the guitar, and couldn't sit with it while it was plugged in. Another problem that surfaced was the Floyd rose. When I changed the strings the bridges hex nuts wouldn't come loose when I used an Allen wrench, it took me 10 minutes just to unscrew one of the hex nuts by the saddle. I would not recommend this guitar, as I ended up returning it 2 days after its arrival, and instead bought a telecaster which I plan on turning into a Jimmy page dragon replica

Hands down for the price one of the best guitars on the market for a metal head. It is a pretty heavy guitar but it feels fairly solid. With all V and explorer guitars you run a very high risk of getting beat up points. Be smart and buy these in store or order them through the store and inspect it at the store. If you're like me you're at GC pretty often and I got one the first day it came in. Neck is Fat and Wide but feels great Floyd is a lower model but a full floating locking nut and trem at this price point is worth it alone Pickup are spicy hot, exactly how they should be. Biggest complaint is the output jack. If you buy one of these get a 90 1/4 inch jack for the best results

Typical gross misconduct of what used to be acceptable guitar, straight garbage.

So this guitar has a split coil for the humbucklers?

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
    No, it doesn't.

I bought one of these for my son and we discovered earlier that the tone knob is a push pull potentiometer. I was wondering if you could tell me whether it was a phase switch or a coil spliter? I guess my ear isn't trained enough for that. You can hear a difference when it's engaged, we're just not sure what exactly it is.

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
    It's a coil split.

How do you tune this guitar? I only ask since there's some other parts on the neck and bridge

    Open Reply - Gear-Adviser
You first tune from the heads. This will tune the first 12 frets. Then you tune from your saddles for correct intonation.
