Kramer

Description

The Kramer Baretta electric guitar is a tribute to one of the most iconic and original designs in rock. Featuring a maple body, hard maple neck, a single Seymour Duncan JB zebra-coil humbucker and a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo with R2 Lock Nut. Available in Ruby Red and Pewter Gray.

The Shredder’s Dream Guitar
The Baretta is inspired by the original homemade single-pickup electric seen on tour with Van Halen in the early 1980s that became every aspiring shredder’s dream guitar: fast, simple and loud, with incredible articulation, sustain and accuracy under the most intense stage conditions.

The Baretta has a classic Kramer “Baretta” maple body with no binding and is available in two finishes, Ruby Red and Pewter Gray. The bolt-on maple neck has a maple fingerboard with a slim profile, 22 medium-jumbo frets, a 25.5” scale, a 14” radius and dot inlays.

Seymour Duncan Humbucker
For over forty years, the Seymour Duncan JB zebra-coil humbucker featuring Alnico 5 magnets and built at the Santa Barbara, California, factory has been the ultimate hot-rodded humbucker. The “JB” is incredibly sensitive and gives players both power and articulation even at high volume. The “JB” is controlled by a single black volume pot.

Floyd Rose Hardware
The Baretta features a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo along with a R2 Lock Nut for rock-solid tuning and intonation. For easy adjustments, two hex wrenches are fastened to the back of the headstock. Black Kramer black die-cast machine heads with a 14:1 tuning ratio make tuning fast and accurate.

Case sold separately.

I bought a special recently. I loved how it played and kept on the lookout for its Floyd Rose equipped sibling. Finally done it and got myself one. It's essentially the same neck and body as the special but with all the nice stuff in it. The Duncan really is versatile and can rip with the best of em. Coil split can get that 1908s bright shimmer. Not quite fender but has its own character. You can really nail the clean tones with it. Add a little chorus/flange in there and you got that beautiful clean tone. Which was a nice surprise for a so called shred instrument. Don't be fooled this thing is FAST neck is very quick and the guitar responds really well to speed. The Floyd is awesome and you can really get the tricks going on it. All in all an incredibly fun guitar. The parent company of Kramer have done good. This thing has better hardware in it than an American made that costs 3 times the price. I really enjoy this instrument. Nostalgia and just wanting to rock out and have fun are a great thing about this baby.
