Kramer

Description

The Assault Plus electric guitar combines a classic Les Paul-style body with the speed, power, and reliability of Kramer. Featuring a mahogany body with a maple veneer top, reverse headstock, Seymour Duncan JB and JN “zebra coil” humbuckers, and a Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo with R2 locking nut.

This Assault Plus features a mahogany body with a flame maple veneer top in Bengal Burst and Trans Purple Burst finish. Both finishes have single-layer black binding. The mahogany neck has a K-Speed SlimTaper “C” profile with a 12” radius maple fingerboard, a 25.5” scale, 24 medium jumbo frets, and a Floyd Rose R2 Lock Nut. The reserve headstock is at a 14 degree angle which increases the pressure at the nut for better sustain.

Seymour Duncan Humbuckers
The Assault Plus is powered by USA-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers with a JN in the neck position and a JB in the bridge position. Seymour first developed the combo in 1974 and today, each pickup is still made at his factory in Santa Barbara, California. The JN has a traditional warm humbucker tone for full, yet clear rhythm while the SH-4 JB is Seymour Duncan’s classic hot-rodded humbucker offering singing highs and aggressive harmonics. Controls include a standard 3-way toggle switch, a volume knob for each pickup, and a master tone control.

Rock Solid Kramer Hardware
The Assault Plus features Kramer black die-cast mini machine heads with a 14:1 tuning ratio and a Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo with R2 Lock Nut for superb and reliable intonation. For easy adjustments, two hex wrenches are fastened to the back of the headstock.

A case is sold separately.

This guitar looked great, had good features for the price, and was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the one I was sent I would not keep. It was the last one in stock as new, but was in rough shape. There was a crack by the low E tuner on the headstock, truss rod cover was missing, broken strings, dusty. I would have expected even better from a used item. Sad that I had to return it, but got a diffferent guitar that I love. I would not hold this against Kramer, or this model guitar, was just sent a guitar that should have never been sold as "new". It is back up for sale and marked as demo gear. I wouldn't spend over 800 dollars for it in the state that it is in. #sweepstakes

I'm looking for a hard case or a good soft case for my Kramer Assault Plus. I can't find a factory Kramer case anywhere? What do you recommend?

This guitar would be compatible with any standard Les Paul case or gig bag.
