Practicing. Playing small gigs. Great intonation all the way up the neck. Sounds great with added chorus & distortion pedal. Gig bag is incredible.

Once I replaced the strings with D'Didarrio J62, light guage and adjusted the bridge height, the mandolin sounds great!

I had purchased a used one from GC that arrived damaged. Unfortunately they hung it up on the wall and relisted it as Great Condition. Two instruments in a row I have purchased and have to give them back as being in not Great condition but rather poor. But I wanted a KM-300E bad so purchased it with a coupon. Beautiful and fun to play with. PLEASE Note it comes with a deluxe gig bag as stated on the manufacturers website. Two sources at GC stated it did not come with a bag. They were WRONG. I had more accomplish musicians look at it and they were amazed at the quality of the instrument. From the bone nut and bridge and beautiful fret work were the comments I heard from them.

The manufacturer's website indicates that the mandolin comes with a "Kentucky Logo ProTour BV-2012 A & F-Model Mandolin Gig Bag". Is the bag included in GC's offer?

what's a good (inexpensive) amp to use with this mandolin?

I would recommend either the Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp or the Acoustic A15V 15W 1x6.5 Acoustic Combo Amp.
