Kentucky

Description

Here is a professional quality F-Style mandolin, offered by Kentucky at a surprisingly affordable price relative to the materials used, the design excellence and the attention to detail in the construction and finish. Only the finest American spruce and maple is hand-carved and graduated for the tops and backs. Deluxe 14:1 reverse tuners, pre-war style ebony bridge and side-striped w/b/w ivoroid body binding all reek vintage. Take a trip back to the early 20s on the Kentucky time machine...it is surprisingly affordable.

This product says Blemished. What is the blemish and were is it located on the mandolin

I’m sorry, we don’t know what the blemish is. The blemishes will be perhaps minor scratches, average handling wear. There will be no effect on playability or sound. Open-Box items have been returned to our distribution center under the Guitar Center Return Policy. They are in "Blemished" condition if they are removed from the factory packaging and show cosmetic signs of use.

How far up the Kentucky line do I have to go to reach one American-made?

    Open Reply - Ronald
It will vary. Basically anything $899 and up would be, but that won't be the case with all of them. Give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can help you find the right mandolin for your needs.
