Works pretty good. Have had some issues with the switches not switching but overall pretty minimal issues. I use it for strictly midi mapping to control things like record, stop, start, etc., with my feet. If only a midi on/off type foot controller like this, it's overkill. You can get a much more basic controller and put it at your feet than this. If you really plan to tweak sounds with the x/y it's prob worth it but the programming for me has been tough to do. Great in concept, tough to execute. Customer service chat is stellar. Always right there (business hours) for answers and support when needed.

If you don't understand the principles of Midi, it will be overwhelming at first. Once you've learned the language and how to route the commands through whatever you are controlling the options and adaptable parameters are staggering. I'm a Getty Lee style player and have the ability to control 2 Midi workstations, route all of my virtual bass effects, amps, trigger samples, sequencers, synths, Logic X, and Mainstage using my feet (if needed). Oh! And this thing is built like a hockey puck.
