It's a pro level product.. and delivers the goods
Bought as a replacement for an older model, I wanted something that had more contrast as the older one was difficult to see in bright light and especially in sunlight. The PB-05 delivers.. high contrast, attractive color against the black background. Easy to use, sensitive, and multiple functions and displays. I use it rack mounted in a 4 space on my right side facing up tuning a pedal steel. While I keep a clip on type unit as back up, it's not as sensitive and not as accurate.

Pretty Good, with room for improvement.
This thing looks great and works great. Very easy to use and the 3 display setting are pretty cool. It looks good in my rack. Speaking of the rack, there's where it could use some improvement. The rack ears provided with the tuner are snap on basically. You slide them onto tabs on the tuners body and there's a little catch that holds them there, no screws. It wouldn't have added much cost to use metal ears and a few screws to hold them on. When I when to mount this in the rack I could only use either the top or the bottom mounting holes on the tuner's rack ears, their mounting holes didn't line up well enough to use both sets of mounting holes. This was the biggest flaw to me. I don't travel a whole lot with for gigs so it should be fine. It just seems like these issues would have been caught during prototype review or design review.

Very cheap quality.

I have owned several well-made, metal, Korg rackmount tuners in the past; this one is cheap plastic. It's not even high-quality, durable plastic - it's really cheap, easy to crack, brittle plastic. Save your money; Korg dropped the ball on this one.

Good tuner. Love that it picks up bass notes with no problems. Really odd that it's all made out of plastic.
