WOW Best Bang For your Buck for guitarists, programers, drummers, etc for Practicing & regaining Interest / Motivation while practicing alone or with other band mates!!!!

This is the Best thing to have for ANY GUITARISTS: whether you play acoustic guitar or bass & or regular electric guitar or bass guitar because it keeps you HIGHLY MOTIVATED vs. using only a metronome when you are alone practicing your guitar because although metronomes themselves are EXTREMELY Crucial & a Must have for any musician, this mixes things up a bit when you a bored or lacking motivation! It's great for making your own Drum beats for Drummers & other band mates to use those made beats to practice with when they are not with their drummer at a band practice, etc. NOW DON't Expect a $3,000 plus msrp dollar value drum / rhythm machine, BUT DO NOTE THAT THIS THING BEATS THE HELL OUT OF ALL THOSE OLD ZOOM G2 PEDALS DRUM BEATS & 99.9%-100% OF ALL DIGITECH'S RP PEDALS' DRUM BEATS BUILT IN TO THEIR PEDALS AS WELL! i LOVE THE IN & OUT OPTION THAT YOU CAN USE IF YOU KNOW YOUR CABLES & CAN BLASTS DRUM BEATS THROUGH YOUR OWN PRACTICE P.A. OR BAND'S P.A. SYSTEM AS WELL AS USE IT TO MAKE SOME DIGITAL BEATS TOO IF YOU ARE SOMEWHAT KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT AUDIO ENGINEERING (LIKE 101 EASY STUFF)& YOU'VE GOT ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES FOR THE MOST PART THAT SOUND AS REAL AS YOU CAN GET FOR ANY DRUM / RHYTHM MACHINE WITHIN THIS PRICE RANGE & IT'S SO MUCH BETTER THAN MANY OTHER PEDAL BRANDS THAT I'VE MENTIONED ABOVE & MORE! ABSOLUTELY GREAT PURCHASE & HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL GUITARISTS OF ALL LEVELS WHO NEED A LITTLE MOTIVATION BROUGHT BACK INTO THEIR LIVES TO KEEP PLAYING & ROCKING OUT TO & IT REALLY IS SUITABLE FOR JUST ABOUT EVERY GENRE OUT THERE & IS THE BEST FOR ANYONE ON A TIGHT BUDGET! I AM IMPRESSED FOR WHAT I GOT FOR THE $ & I'D REPLACE THIS IN A HEART BEAT IF IT GOT LOST, BROKEN, OR STOLEN! EVEN THOUGH THIS KORG MINI KR MIGHT NOT GET YOU A DRUM MACHINE'S SOUND THAT'S HD LIKE WITH MSRPS(IN THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLAR RANGE), IT BEATS JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ON THE MARKET IN IT'S PRICE RANGE & is extremely close if not to HD sounding IMO compared to other stuff on the market! GO IN & TRY ONE YOURSELF OR JUST BUY ONE & I WILL GUARENTEE YOU THAT OVER AT LEAST 85+% OF YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED IN THIS LITTLE KORG MINI KR DRUM / RHYTHM / BEATS MACHINE THAT HAS A BUILT IN METRONOME OPTION ALSO! GREAT PRODUCT! 5/5 STARS & BEST BANG FOR YOUR $ OR BUDGET AS WELL!

Not too sure about this

I recently got really into recording, I bought a fancy drum machine but between learning my machine then having to learn to program my drum machine I kind of got burnt out. For now let me see what other options I have. So seen this and it was relatively cheap. So I went and picked one up I figured heck it's made by korg, it should sound pretty good. I was so disapointed in the sound the drum sounds sound like the come off of a cheap kids keyboard not enough variety for me anyway it's what I thought I was looking for but no where near what I wanted. Don't get me wrong for the price if your not caring about the over all sound and want something that's easy to work with then you'll be satisfied but I think you'll agree that keeping Korg in mind when you hear it it's definitely nothing to write home about.

Okay, so this is a bit more than a metronome, but not much. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no way to know the tempo, and with no syncing options playing along with other instruments is a guessing game. The sounds and rhythms are good/fun (pushing it through an amp) and it feels pretty solid for the price, so definitely fun to play with, but serious musicians/producers will want to look elsewhere.

  • For the price, this product does everything I wanted it to.

For the price, this product does everything I want it to do. It is relatively easy to use It would benefit from a LCD type display, but then that would be more expensive. So, I am happy with it.

I use this for my shows. I am happy with the sound and ease of use. The main problem is that there is no tempo indicator. To remedy this I affixed a white ring around the tempo knob and marked it like a clock face. This way I can easily set the predetermined tempo for each song. I also occasionally have a problem with the unit not playing the pattern I selected. Usually the buttons turn red and there is a generic pattern played. It may be that my unit is broken. I have used it for quite a few years.

after I installed the batteries and turned the unit on the screen showed 'size error' I emailed teac right away. That was on june 12th. I haven't heard from them. I called where the item was purchased and they are mailing me an sd card that hopefully will work.
