I purchased this to replace an old adapter for a Sony device. It works perfectly, with zero hiccups. The price was right & I would purchase it again. (Guitar Center's item description wasn't complete, but the specs in the photo turned out to be reliable.)

I bought this for my PX5D which is a great little machine, but devours batteries when plugged into an amp. Now I don't need batteries. The adapter is a wall wart, and kinda big for a 5V adapter compared to others I have, but it was cheap and seems sturdy enough. It came within a week on regular delivery.

Is this power supply compatible with the Korg G3?

    Open Reply - Thomas
No. You need a 9V unit. Take a look at the "Livewire PS05 AC/DC Power Adapter 9V 850mA"

Would this work with a Korg monologue monophonic analogue synthesizer?

    Open Reply - Charles
This would not work for a Korg monologue monophonic analogue synthesizer. Korg recommends an AC adapter (DC 9V) such as the Korg KA-350 Power Supply.
