Just want to share an idea with everybody - To make the power button and the input jack more easily visible under low-light or otherwise altered conditions, I used a silver Sharpie pen to highlight the On button and draw a circle around the jack .. SO much better! I also drew a circle with an arrowhead on my Boss tuner.

  • Great tuner.

I use this to set intonation in strobe mode. Extremely accurate.

It's very accurate. Easy to see. Was using the Boss tuner app. It's ok. But this is a whole lot better. Plug right into it. I play 7 string in Drop G. It has no issue recognizing the low G.

  • Probably not to use with your amps tuner out jack.

I got this to use with my Little Mark III head and quickly discovered that it doesn't play nice with the amp's tuner out. When plugged into the turner out port the tuner jumps around wildly like it's receiving a signal, making it useless. Thinking it may be an issue with the amp I tested it out the same way on my older Gallien Krueger head. It had the same issue.

  • I bought it AGAIN!

I got clumsy and dropped my previous GA Custom (reviewed earlier)... I had no issue buying the same thing again to replace it!

I propped it up on the coffee table with a pick and tuned a used Taylor Academy 12 from GC-Austin for the first time as I prepare to start learning guitar and baritone ukulele, a Mitchell MUB70S from Guitar Center online arriving within a week. Three different display modes are available, and watching the blue bands move toward the center green band is very intuitive. Two AAA batteries for power should last quite some time. Added a Seiko clip-on pickup accessory for this tuner to my wish list, just in case.
