    1. The volume button works only at Max. Any less - and the amp won't get the signal. It's a glorified on/off switch at your fingertips. 2. Loud humming unless full volume. Cure: good cable to replace original, or wireless. 3. Works quite well on permanent mount. Goo is useless.

    For the money this thing is great for my acoustic..I wanted the ability to use an amp with my acoustic without having to get an expensive add on electronics...I honestly didnt spend much time experimenting with placement since Im not a tone chaser and every review seemed to end up placing it in similar area on the guitar, and it seems fine for my use...I got aftermarket extra strength double sided tape for really solid connection...I love the volume knob and use it a lot,,very glad i got the new one with a volume knob...most impressive was when i had a small issue with the pickup and reached out to the customer support and they were great..fast email replies and even offer to replace the pickup, but I decided i wasnt concerned enough to exchange it,,but for a inexpensive pickup it was nice to still get such customer service help...

    the blue sticky gel was so dried up i could not use it to stick on and have no idea how to order some fresh replacement

    I use it to play and record my acoustic Guitar in my loop station. Good choice!
