K&M

Description

A distinctive tensioning mechanism means this holder is suitable for attaching tablet PCs like iPad, iPad mini, Amazon Kindle, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Google Nexus, Asus Transformer or Microsoft Surface in size from 4.72 to 8.66" to a shaft diameter of max. 1.18". The holder is equally suitable for tablets with a protective sleeve or case.

A tension spring allows the tablet to be clipped in and removed from the holder easily and quickly. The adjustable, universal clamping jaw with integrated moss rubber protectors ensures a strong grip and eliminates undesired vibration sound problems. The holder does not affect the functioning of the operating controls. The felt-protected adjustable fastening pin provides extra security when the tablet holder is positioned vertically and prevents the tablet PC from falling, even under heavy use. The holder can be rotated to a position to suit all users and the rotation motion adjusted from easy to stiff with a clamp bolt. The tablet holder can of course be switched between portrait and landscape format and potential slippage is prevented.

Make sure to use a stand with a heavy base so as not to fall over. The weight of the iPad and the holder may be too much for a light stand.

I thought this was a bit pricey but I needed to upgrade because mo older tablet mount would not accommodate my Microsoft Surface Tablet. This mount works beautifully and is really sturdy and well built. No slippage on the mic stand at all. It holds the tablet very securely and it will lock it in place if needed. If you play out and, this one will do the job. need a tablet holder

A little difficult to figure out how to go from portrait to landscape but got it other than that so far so good. Jury is still out on quality.

I'm considering using this for my Bose T1 and was wondering if the holder can handle the depth of the T1. A tablet/iPad is much narrower depth wise. Also, would it hold the weight of a T1?

    It won't handle the depth
