    This is exactly like the upper support arm that comes with the K&M Spider Pro. Works the same way. You have to remove the top cap plate to install it, but it's easy. I used it to add a 3rd keyboard to my standing rig. I was previously using the laptop stand to hold a small synth. While this worked, it was too high. The third tier lowers it down to a suitable height for playing. So far I'm very impressed by the quality of this K&M stand -- I also have the mic boom attachment and it's great.
