collapse expand iconWarranty

What is the warranty period of my guitar?

Most Jasmine guitars carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Models in our Studio Series (JS 141, JS241, JS341, JS441) carry a Limited 5 year warranty.

Who do I contact for warranty service for my guitar?

You need to contact your place of purchase with a copy of your sales receipt and request a warranty service evaluation. The dealer or service center should then contact Kaman Music and request a Return Authorization number.

What if my place of purchase is out of business or in another state?

Use our website's search engines to find a local Authorized Dealer or Service Center for your product. Then contact them with a copy of your sales receipt and request a warranty service evaluation.

How long does it take to get a warranty service evaluation?

The dealer or service center must contact Kaman Music for a Return Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. As a consumer, you are responsible for shipping charges to return the product to Kaman Music. Once in the possession of Kaman Music Corp, the evaluation normally takes 2-3 days.

What happens after the evaluation?

Kaman Music determines if the product is repairable and will repair it under the terms of the warranty policy for that product. The product will be returned to the dealer or service center, prepaid.

What if my guitar is not repairable?

Kaman Music will replace the item with another one of equal value. In the case of a discontinued model, Kaman Music will replace the item with another of equal or more value.

Is my warranty transferable?

No, all Kaman Music warranty policies are valid only to the original purchaser with a warranty card on file or a copy of the original sales receipt as proof of purchase.

How can I get parts for my guitar?

Contact your place of purchase to order parts. You need to provide the model and serial number of the product and a copy of your sales receipt if the part is under warranty.

What does a Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy really mean?

Our Limited Lifetime warranty policy means that for the first 2 years you own the product, Kaman Music will cover all parts and labor for anything deemed defective. After that initial 2 year period, Kaman will cover the parts for anything deemed defective as long as you own the product, but now the consumer is responsible for any labor charges incurred in the repair.
Please Note: All electronics, machine heads and strings are not covered under warranty.

Bought this guitar to help my son and daughter learn to play. It fits nicely in their lap and is easy for them to reach all the strings. It's also small enough to pack in the car and take on a trip. It sounds great. Needs a small set up, but that's to be expected.

  • Great little guitar for the price!!!!

I bought this guitar as a present for my 5 year old granddaughter. Realizing teaching her will take time, I wanted a guitar that would be comfortable for her to hold and play without spending too much money. I read the reviews and figured for the price I would give it a try. After it arrived I opened the box and and couldn't believe how nice the finish was. I tuned it, stretched the strings and tuned it again. I ended up playing it for 30 minutes and was amazed at how nice it sounded and how easy the action was. I figured I would have to file some frets or make some adjustments but it perfect right out of the box. Can't go wrong for the price.

  • I would buy again

I enjoy the small size for playing around the house. I don't have to dig the Gibson out of its case now. Great for teaching younger players, perfect size for fun.

  • Really nice beginner guitar!

Wanted a 3/4 size guitar with steel strings for my daughter. Didn't want nylon because I don't want a guitar that sounds like a toy. This does not sound like a toy. It has a nice, rich, full sound. The action is good too. I'm confident my daughter can learn on this. I'm so glad I decided to spend a little more money for this.

  • Nice guitar but canes scratched and dented.

I like the guitar. It is compact but playable. It also sounds great. My main complaint is that is came with dents and scratches in finish. I noticed them immediately after unboxing.

  • Nice little guitar...for the money.

I bought this guitar because of the size. The 23.375" scale is more like a 7/8 size guitar. Good sound and volume for a small guitar. Easy to play. Action was good out of the box. Changed the strings and adjusted the truss rod and its good to go. I will play this a lot.

Due to the scale length 23-3/8", it would be considered slightly bigger than a 3/4 size guitar.

The action would come standard but would be adjustable to your liking.
