I got this as my first guitar about 7 months ago. Spent about 4 months researching before buying this, and it looked good for the price. Everything works amazing and it's really fun to play, great for fast shreddy stuff and distortion. But also fun for clean tones. I would HIGHLY recommend investing time in research in the Floyd Rose, or getting an expert to look at it. It's easily messed up and sensitive. You don't want it to get messed up, plus having it all adjusted properly makes playing and using it a dream. You will be asked by your friends if they can use it because they will be jealous… However, they also will not understand your pain. Tuning this beautiful thing can be a bit of a nightmare at times, adjusting one thing will change the tension of the entire instrument (bridge) and the tunings of the rest of the strings. It genuinely took me thirty minutes to tune this thing to D standard once, and even then it wouldn't hold for crap, so I spent the next thirty minutes putting back to E. It was also out of tune the next day. Drop tuning it isn't a cheat either. However, once it's settled into a tuning it holds it fairly well, even with some "minor" whammy abuse. The fine tuners are a dream! Do make sure you have at least a microfiber cloth to clean and keep it pretty. It's white with a bright fingerboard, you don't want it to look dirty or see all the disgusting fingerprints, scratches, and dead skin we guitarists/string instrument players try so hard to make sure no one sees. I'm not gonna tell you you need to humidify your room and case, oil your fingerboard every day, and change strings every month though. This would only hurt the guitar and your wallet. I'm not sure how it does with low tunings, I'm assuming alright (assuming you have the right gauge strings) but I only play in drop D. I really have no complaints other than the tuning, but thats basically unavoidable with any floating bridge system. And I really have fallen in love with this guitar and find it fun to play for a lot of genres, and would definitely recommend. No like I've seriously fallen in love, I had to take it into the shop for a restringing and some minor bridge tune ups and found myself genuinely missing it.

The fretboard is very clean and easy to go up and down the scale. Its neck-through design makes it easy to move up and down the scale.
