High Quality Instrument BY Jackson

Adrian Smith goes over the top, yet preserves a classy touch, to his signature line of guitars. Personally it is an honor to own anything that is a copy of what one of my hero's plays. Adrian has always been an influence due to his melodic melody lines, his aggressive yet laid back style, to me, he is metal royalty, and a huge influence. Anyway, you can see that this same kind of commitment to quality that Adrian has with music, he put into his guitar line. I am super excited to have ordered one of these, wanted one for a while, one of the best signature models out there right now.

Being a huge Iron Maiden fan, I wanted to buy a strat style guitar with a floyd rose tremolo similar to what Adrian Smith and Dave Murray use. The guitar stock is a really solid guitar, good construction and feel. The bridge pickup had room for improvement. I eventually swapped the bridge pickup for a TB4 Trembucker and man did that improve the tone. Not to say the stock humbucker is bad, but the tone could be better, in fact I was not in a rush to swap out the bridge humbucker. I use the single coils more for clean tones than leads so I have no complaints there. The floyd rose special stays in tune really well with dive bombs and what not, just have a proper setup and maintenance and you should be good. Overall, I would recommend getting this guitar, I love it!

As a long time Iron Maiden fan, I always wanted to try out Adrian's signature guitar, a couple of years ago I purchased the Dave Murray fender signature and I have been very happy with it. I haven't tried the USA version so I can't compare, but I couldn't find any significant flaws on the craftsmanship of the Indonesian version. When I first played it out of the box, felt the edges of a couple of frets a little rough, but somehow it disappeared after a couple of weeks. I immediately replace the pickups with the fenders SCN and the Seymour Duncan JB TB4(To make it closer to the USA model) it wasn't easy to find the fenders SCN, actually I could only find the ones with the aged white covers(actually they don't look bad, I would replace the covers if I can ever find them black ones, these are not standard single coils), pickup selector switch, pots and strings, since I read that the single coils stock pickups sucked but the HB was good. I don't think I played the guitar more than a couple of minutes with the stock pickups. I can't find any difference between the original Floyd and the special, (my fender Dave Murray has original Floyd) this guitar stays in tune, the fretboard and neck feel great, and I am digging the tone of the fender SCNs and SDuncan JB on this guitar. Like I said I haven't tried the USA version, but I can't afford it either, and I am really happy with this so far and in the end that is what matters, this guitar looks, plays and sounds great.
My First Electric Guitar

This was my first guitar. Being a huge Iron Maiden fan and a big fan of Adrian Smith, I had to get this baby. I was thrilled to see that Jackson made this mid-level guitar so affordable. The San Dimas that Adrian uses is $2000. I love the dark green color with the white pick guard. It's very stunning to look at. The Jackson neck is amazing. It's made for speed. I'm still learning, but I get lost playing this guitar for hours. The 22-jumbo frets took a little getting used to as far as finger pressure is concerned. You can get really solid tone with a pretty light touch. I find that helps me play longer as my fingers don't get as tired or sore while playing. I haven't worked with the tremolo very much yet. It stays in tune very well. The locking nut and Floyd Rose bridge keep the tune solid. I've had this guitar for almost 6 months now and haven't had to tune it since the initial tuning I did when I bought it. I loved this guitar so much I got a Dinky Minion for my son for Christmas. He tried it out in the store and fell in love with it on the spot.

I have 2 questions actually, it says that this guitar is in stock but also it says preorder. If I did buy this how long would the wait be? Second in the description it says also available with black pick guard and hardware, but there isn't an option for it when I try to add to cart. Is it not available yet?
The item is currently in stock and ready to ship from our warehouse. As for the different finish, I'm not showing any options for it on our end.
