Description
The Jackson X Series Concert Bass CBXNT DX V is a highly versatile bass designed for one express purpose—bringing the thunder to your music. Upgraded electronics, classically brutal style and efficient playability make this entry into the lineup a fundamental force to be reckoned with. Perfect for rock, metal or other styles that demand a powerful low end, this instrument is an unbelievable value. The 35"-scale bass pairs a poplar body with a graphite-reinforced neck-through-body design that generates formidable sustain, while the speed maple neck contour and 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard make for lightning-fast playability.
P/J Pickups Deliver Punch and Attitude
The heart of the Concert Bass CBXNT DX V is a Jackson J-style bridge pickup and Jackson P-style neck pickup, along with an active 3-band EQ circuit for adding punch, cut, rumble or grunt to your sound.
Hardtail Bridge Enhances Attack and Sustain
A brand-new stylish chrome Jackson Bass Bacher V hardtail bridge enhances note attack and sustain without altering your carefully crafted tone, while the sealed die-cast tuning machines keep the strings in tune, no matter how hard you dig into them.
Fast-Playing Neck Provides a Lifetime of Performance
The maple neck and laurel fingerboard supply a lifetime of rock-solid performance. The easy-playing compound-radius fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets, allowing for effortless slides and bends.
Stylish Appointments Complete the Look
Additional features include pearloid sharkfin inlays, chrome hardware including the bridge pickup cover, black skirt-style control knobs and Jackson pointed 5-in-line black headstock. This is the first jackson base i've owned and I must say quite impressed. This isn't about specs And other appointments of the bass. It's about how it sounds feels and looks It's what a bass player expects it lets you play the bass. And it makes it fun It's almost like the bass is eager to please you. Good job fender . .... If you get this bass , make sure you invest in a case The pointed headstock will be the first point of damage most likely to occur.
Killer styling, versatile pickups, and a powerful preamp.

I love the look of this bass. For me it hits on some key elements of the Fender and Rickenbacker basses. The neck is pretty wide, I recommend putting your hands on one. It plays well out of the box although a pro setup is a good idea. I like the preamp, it's got volume, blend, and 3 band boost/cut. Gets crazy low and sustains for days. Try one out I highly recommend it.
it was heavy for me and the neck was fatter than i expected
