Description

The seven-string SLATXF7MG is a dealer exclusive and features an arched Soloist mahogany body, a three-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement for superior stability, EMG 707 neck and bridge pickup set, a bound compound-radius (12-16) rosewood fingerboard with piranha pearloid inlays, 24 jumbo frets, 26.5 scale and a jackson string-through-body bridge.

    This is a cool guitar, the neck feels pretty good and is smooth playing. The pick ups sound nice as they should. I have two complaints. 1: The overall cheapness look of the guitar. The picture makes this guitar look better, the binding on the head stock looks... cheap and so does a lot of the hardware... hard to explain got to check it out for your self. the neck inlays are pretty cool however. 2: The pick up switch is kind of flimsy and weak feeling... seems like it is made of all plastic and ready to fail at any time. Not sure if it will or it was just my guitar but that is no fun. I guess you could have a more expensive selector installed relatively in expensively but who wants to do that.... Other than that this guitar falls in a pretty good price... a little more than some of the entry level Schecter guitars. The action is pretty decent on it. Try it out!
