Jackson

Description

The Jackson Pro Plus XT Soloist SLAT HT6 baritone electric guitar delivers powerful tone and premium playability. Built with four decades of Jackson's expertise, this pro-level baritone features a resonant arched nyatoh body paired with a rock-solid three-piece maple neck for stability and sustain. The ebony fingerboard has a compound 12–16" radius and 24 stainless steel frets for fluid lead work and chunky chords. Seymour Duncan Nazgûl and Sentient pickups provide a range of tones from thick rhythm crunch to searing leads that slice through any mix.

Resonant Woods and Superior Construction

The lightweight nyatoh body resonates fully to enhance your tone. Three-piece maple neck construction and graphite reinforcement provide rock-solid stability for demanding playing. The ebony fingerboard offers a smooth feel under your fingers whether soloing or riffing. Luminlay side dots make navigating the 27" scale length effortless on dark stages. The HT6 bridge's string-through-body design improves sustain and tuning stability.

Fast, Fluid Playability

The 27" scale ebony fingerboard provides space between frets for easier baritone playing. A 12"–16" compound radius keeps chords and leads equally comfortable. 24 jumbo stainless steel frets withstand aggressive playing. Side dots glow for visibility on any stage. The slim neck profile glides under your fingers, letting you fly up and down the fingerboard with speed and precision.

High-Output Pickups for Aggressive Tone

The Nazgûl bridge pickup delivers tight lows, rich mids and searing highs for metal rhythm and leads. The Sentient neck pickup provides warm, defined cleans and fat overdrive tones. A three-way switch lets you access each pickup individually or combine them. A single volume control and kills witch button offer additional tonal shaping and stutter effects.

Premium Appointments for the Serious Musician

The reverse Jackson pointed headstock is a bold visual statement. Black hardware matches the satin finish for a streamlined look. Stainless steel frets stand up to aggressive playing while providing silky string bending and vibrato. The compound radius fingerboard has a flatter 16" radius by the body for easy chording and a 12" radius by the nut for comfortable open-position playing.

Hi-Gain, tight rhythms. Metal. A standard tuning. Guitar is truly awesome. 5 way toggle would be nice, but isn't really an issue with this guitar. The guitar appears pristinely dark in person, and compelling to look at and play. Sounds amazing as expected with Jackson and Seymour Duncan. My final thoughts are 4/5 overall for a high volume of good experiences.
