Jackson

Description

The Jackson DKMG Dinky is a rock and roll machine. Carved top alder body, maple neck, compound-radius bound rosewood fingerboard with shark-tooth inlays. EMG 81 and 85 pickups for crunchy rhythm sounds and punchy lead tones. Floyd Rose-licensed double-locking tremolo.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

    Jackson DKMG

This is the best Japan made Jackson ever made. Starting with the neck. It is a fast neck, the action is low and perfect for rythm and lead, and is not to skinny and not to fat, very comfortable when you play. The body is a solid body really feels like a U.S.A. made product. It's as heavy as Fender Strat, but gives you that Jackson soound. Speaking of sound the EMG's are just like PB&J with the wood on the Jackson. You can get that fat trebly, trebly fat, trebly, or fat sound. They are even more amazing when you punch the distortion up and punch a rythm with a heavy fast lead with a 3 stack Marshall you will crave this guitar for the rest of your life. Classic rock to blues to metal to country it is one of the most versatile pickups ever made. The hardware like the Floyd Rose Tremolo is great for that crazy rythm or that fast lead you crave. Also, the all black looks so slick on the guitar great look that will make anyone turn. This guitar will be one the most slickest, most versatile, most well built guitar, Jackson will ever make.

    Disappointed

Many errors during the first month I got this guitar, and brand new. The floyd rose does not stay in tune, I had the bridge PU knob snap on me and I had to fix it myself, and worst of all, Its starting to cut out, and I tried it through many dif amps, and bought new input cords and still cuts out, very low quality guitar

GREAT!! Best guitar I have ever owened. Stays tuned, great action, fantastic feel. I purchased the 'skulls' version about a year ago and love it still; with not regrets. For rocking at home or live I wouldn't use anything else. Anyone I have let try it loves it to. I would recommend it to my mother....if she played rock, metal, or even an instrument. LOL

I absouletly love this guitar! I first saw this guitar at my local shop, and i tryed it on a line 6 75 watter. and oh my god! it was a darn sweet guitar! I've played everything from a Fender Strat to a Shecter HellRaiser. But this is my favorite from Jackson yet! The EMG's light this thing on fire too! i love how i can keep a sustain longer, and the shrak tooth inlays are sweet too! The Floyd Rose Tremolo is by far what keeps this thing alive sometimes! i have shaken it and dive bombed and not once does it go out of tune! This guitar is by far my favorite that i own. oh and if you put some ernie ball super slinkys on it it will send this thing skyward!

I saw this at the guitar center and loved the sleek black look.the EMG81-85 stack sounds amazing.the neck is low and fast and the floyd rose NEVER goes out of tune for me.I got it on clearence for a great low price but would of paid more for this work of art.I have had no problems with it at all. This guitar is a joy to play and worth every penny for those looking at it.

I just go this guitar because my b.c rich broke. let me tell you I am very impressed with this guitar. The flat neck gives this guitar a very fast action. it also plays well with differnt kinds of music. plus it is worth the price.so if i were you, i'd buy this guitar right now.

I had the EXACT same problems with my guitar as the other reviewer here. Extremely disappointed, Bridge pick up knob snapped, doesn't stay in tune, except to add on top of all of that, the toggle switch doesn't even work half the time when I switch to my neck pickup, horrendous.
