I purchased this guitar for some different tones other than the strat. I have always been a fan of Fender, but I wanted a different body style. The JS SC caught my eye, and they are new for this year. They had the LP design without the LP price. I was hooked as soon as I seen it, and knew this was what I wanted. The pickup's are a little bright, but with good tone settings that's fixed. The range of tones I get are awesome, from clean to dirty it just works. The compound radius fret board is fast and a joy to play. I have always played the C shape necks, but I just don't want to put this guitar down. The cuts and the curves of this beauty are awesome. Its like it was made just for me. I really like the neck joint. Its a bolt on, but the tapering let's you play the higher frets with no effort at all. I would suggest a good set up as mine had some fret buzz on the first 4 frets. I don't care how much or how little you pay for a guitar, it only matters if your are gonna play it. With this one I just can't stop playing it. So Rock On People.
