Jackson JS Series Concert Bass Minion JS1X Short-Scale Guitar Silver Burst

Description
Offering a shortened 28.6" scale length, the Concert Bass Minion JS1XM short-scale bass has a poplar body, bolt-on maple neck with graphite-reinforcement rods and tilt-back headstock, and a 12" radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and black sharkfin inlays.
Plenty of balanced, deep tone radiates from a Jackson P-style neck pickup, while a Jackson J-style bridge pickup works double time by eliminating hum and delivering a punchy tone note after note. Dial in your sound with a pair of volume knobs and a single tone knob, and enjoy greater note sustain from the hardtail bridge with black base plate.
Boasting diverse low-end tone, classic Jackson style and an unbelievably affordable price tag, this four-string Minion JS1XM short-scale bass comes in a snow white finish with black hardware and black pointed headstock.

Gigworthy! Better than Squier Mini Precision Bass

TLDR: This bass is awesome and ready to gig. Silverburst finish is stunning. My daughter wanted to play bass so she chose a Squier Mini P-Bass from GC as it was comfortable for her. It was good, but it always seemed she had to fight it to avoid fret buzzing. We visited GC one day and she picked the Minion up. 10,000x better sounding and playing. It felt so easy for her. She now performs concerts with the Jackson and it sounds/looks killer. We did buy it used, so someone could have set it up really nice when they owned it (better than I setup the Squier). Interesting - the Jackson has exactly the same body shape, scale length and P pickup as the Squier. The Jackson adds the J pickup and has an Amaranth fretboard instead of maple. Jackson is owned by Fender. So this is an upgraded Squier Mini Precision Bass in specs and playability! Highly recommended! Only issue we've had is the cable insert jack was scratchy once - tightening it down fixed the problem - more of a maintenence thing than a QC problem.
So happy that Alex Rader reached out, awesome sales rep.

Because of its small size, i was able to go to a marching band parade while playing this bass, it has a very strong sound and i would highly recommend it. got lots of compliments.
