Jackson

Description

The Jackson DK2M Pro Series Dinky features an alder body, flat-sawn graphite-reinforced bolt-on maple neck with wrap-around heel, 24-fret compound-radius (12"-16") maple fingerboard (dark rosewood on Snow White model) with offset black dot inlays (offset white dot inlays on Snow White model), black neck and headstock binding, direct-mount Seymour Duncan JB Zebra (bridge) and '59 Zebra (neck) humbucking pickups with five-way blade switching, Floyd Rose bridge, black hardware and Dunlop strap locks.

Crafted with more than three decades of Jackson experience and expertise, Pro Series guitars feature volcanic pickups from pro makers Seymour Duncan, perfectly sculpted maple necks with hand-rubbed oil finishes, and 24-fret compound-radius fingerboards in rosewood, maple and ebony that curve more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flatten out approaching the body for wicked-fast runs and crazy-high bends without fretting out. I have 12 guitars. Some high end ESP, Gibson. This dinky is actually the most comfortable, perfect size and weight for me. I put a dimebucker in the bridge. I don't like painted necks, so this had the feel I prefer. Standard Floyd is a plus also. Mat black finish looks mean, and for the money you cant beat it. I like it better than the SL1. Call me crazy.

First off. This is probably the easiest guitar you can play. The neck is so slick and fast it will double your playing ability. I got this for my first guitar, so I learned guitar on such an easy one to play and when I picked up my friends guitars that were a lot more rough on the fingerboard I sucked. Haha. So I guess thats only bad thing. The pickups are pretty good too. The bridge is great. The neck is a little week but for the price its amazing. I really have no complaints on this guitar at all. So its a great buy.

This guitar is by far one of the finest instruments out there for the price. It came set up perfectly, and it has one of the fastest neck actions I've ever played. A good buy for the serious rock player. It even came loaded with Duncans and a TSA flight case!

I've had this guitar for about 3 months, and I love the feel of this guitar. It has a maple neck, which is nice and has very easy playability. The floyd rose works great, once you set it right and just leave it. when I got this guitar, I played for about 10 hours straight that day. About 2 days later, I went back to guitar center and tried out other guitars i had planned on buying, and nothing feels like this jackson. The only complaint I have is that one of the knobs is loose, but no biggie. The seymour Duncans sound good. The neck pick up is great for clean tone. You will not regret buying this guitar, is feels and sounds great.

I have played many different guitars but of all of them this one is the best guitar i have played. My freind Mick from Grace Not Glory used it in a show after a 6 song set and five more days of me playing it, it was still in tune. It is extreamly light and comfertable when siting or standing. The Seymore Duncans have a heavy sound while still haveing a clear sound. It squeals like no other guitar I have played (even better than EMGs). The one thing I would suggest would be a Jackson case becuse with "universal" cases the headstock digs into the back of the case. If you take your playing seriously YOU MUST HAVE THIS GUITAR!!!!!
