Description
Simple, solid and very useful. Have you ever needed a simple mute switch with no frills? Just hit the footswitch and anything plugged into the input is made 100% silent. Has a dual color LED that shines green when signal is hot and red when the mute is on.

NOTE that this is NOT a momentary switch. When clicked, the signal stays in the position chosen.

    I use it at the end of my signal chain before the DI box and I don't have to worry about anything going to front off house. N noise from the board or accidental string noise gets picked up, my insurance for if the sound guy forgets to mute my channel 😆

    I bought a tuner that's always on, and build a pedalboard without any kind of mute- So I feel like a total amateur, re-tuning in between songs. With the JHS Mute I paid about half of what a new tuner would cost. It works great, and fits just about anywhere.

    I have nothing negative to say about this little pedal. I needed something to cut the sound off when I'm not playing and our sound tech leaves my channel open. Most of my basses don't have kill switches, but this switch works perfectly for such an occasion. It has a powered on-light to tell me when it's engaged, but I don't need it. Somehow, through great experience and careful research, I discovered that if I don't hear any sound coming from my bass, that in itself is my indicator that the switch is engaged. Wow, what a concept! All in all, it works great.

    Would this work well for running microphones through it? I know the cables would need to be XLR-to-1/4, but we've got those already. (Referring to mics which don't have their own on/off switch.)
