Description
The JBL PRX ONE powered column PA speaker delivers premium sound and advanced functionality in a sleek, portable design. Its 12 custom-engineered tweeters form an acoustically optimized array, providing 130dB of crystal-clear coverage. Complementing the high-frequency performance is a powerful 12" woofer, which handles bass frequencies with precision down to 500Hz for deep, natural tones. Designed for DJs, musicians, presenters and houses of worship, this all-in-one system combines professional-grade audio effects, Bluetooth connectivity, and a built-in digital mixer for seamless control. Whether you're amplifying voices or pumping music, the PRX ONE ensures every detail is heard with stunning clarity and impact.
12-Tweeter Column Array for Superior Coverage
The PRX ONE features a meticulously engineered 12-tweeter column array, optimized with JBL AIM technology for full-bandwidth sound dispersion. Delivering consistent performance across the venue, this array ensures every listener experiences the same high-quality audio, even in challenging acoustic environments. Copper-capped pole pieces enhance the tweeters' high-frequency response, producing smooth, articulate sound at any volume. Coupled with the robust 12" woofer, this PA excels in achieving balanced lows and crisp highs, making it a reliable choice for performances, events and presentations.
2,000W Class-D Amplifier for Powerful Performance
Equipped with a 2,000W Class-D amplifier, this PA system provides clean, stable power, ensuring minimal distortion and ample headroom for loud, clear sound. The high-efficiency design allows consistent operation across voltage variations, while four mic preamps maintain full bandwidth even at maximum gain levels. Whether you're powering a live band or delivering a speech, the PRX ONE handles dynamic performances effortlessly, producing studio-quality sound at any output level.
JBL Pro Audio Effects for Customizable Sound
Shape your sound with the PRX ONE's integrated DBX and Lexicon effects suite, which includes reverb, delay, compression and feedback suppression. DBX DriveRack Inside with AFS Pro automatically eliminates feedback, ensuring clean audio during live sessions. Presenters will benefit from the ducking feature, which lowers background music when speech is detected. With customizable presets for music and spoken word, this speaker offers tailored sound that enhances your performance or event.
Intuitive Digital Mixer for Quick and Easy Setup
The Soundcraft-designed 7-channel digital mixer makes sound management simple and efficient. Dual-mode control allows users to toggle between per-channel settings and overall mixing adjustments. Visual monitoring is easy with the full-color LCD screen, LED metering and triple-tier DSP interface. Save and recall settings using the Setup Saver feature, ensuring quick deployment for repetitive setups. With straightforward navigation and robust controls, this mixer enables fast, precise sound adjustments in real time.

I Really Wanted to Buy a Pair of These!
I have been a QSC man for many years. Recently we have been booking a lot of extended travel wedding trips and I found myself in need of downsizing my system without sacrificing sound I spent about a month researching various column array systems and came down to either purchasing a pair of the JBL PRX One or the RCJ Evox J8s. During our previous road trip I was fortunate to find a GC that had demos set up of both units, several other array systems, and the QSC speakers that I was currently using. The QSC speakers I was using were quickly knocked out in head to head tests. The JBL and RCF were head and shoulders above all the other array systems as well. In a head to head the RCF and JBL were equal as far as sound quality. The JBLs did get a bit louder than the RCFs, but I didn't feel that they were $1000 a pair louder. The construction of the RCFs felt a bit more durable as well. The thing that pushed my decision over the edge was the fact that the arrays fit inside the back of the woofers for transporting. I needed to downsize and the RCF took me where I needed to be. I have done 3 weddings with the RCFs and have no regrets in buying them. Would I recommend the JBLs? YES! If you are not in need of downsizing to the smallest possible system, spend the money and get the best!

Underwhelming...
I play solo Americana gigs, as well as duo and three piece bluegrass/americana gigs. First thing I noticed is - Why is there not a dust/scratch cover for the main unit? No brainer if you've ever hauled your own gear to a gig or two. Not a fan at all of the digital interface. Quirky and not intuitive. If you are adjusting volume while someone is playing it cuts out. Seems like a very slow processor... This thing is just awkward to have on stage for a duo or three piece. Do we put it between us? Off to the side? We have to stand behind it according to the manual, which is weird if it's in the center. It does sound decent, especially with the sub, but I think this is more for DJs or corporate events. I should have just bought a couple of powered speakers instead. It will work for my singer/songwriter solo gigs, but any other time it's just awkward and tedious. Tweeter column seems a little fragile as well. I can see it getting worn out and wobbly over time.

I'm a solo acoustic player (both guitar and keys) and this thing is awesome. Sound quality is awesome and I love the high z inputs for the guitar and keys. Ultimate plug and play PA system. I can set up so quickly and I'm not gassed before the gig hauling in heavy speakers and peripherals. Even the in between sets music has the room thumping. Love the digital interface that I. Use on my iPhone. Overall would buy it over and over again

i bought this to replace a couple of 15" powered mains. I went from 2 15" mains, stands and mixer to this simple set up. The ease of set up and compact design is a win alone. The sound is fantastic, 7 channel input at this price point is a win, lots of ability to tweak your sound, or just go with the preset. I heard a lot of complaints about the app. I find it to work seamlessly on my iphone and is extremely helpful given i do my own sound. Volume is adequate for the smaller rooms that i play with my acoustic guitar and a drummer. Works just fine. I am happy with this purchase.
Well rounded unit!

Traded in a Bose L1 1S. This unit is so much easier to setup and operate with the Bluetooth functionality. I've used an EV30M multiple times and the app is very similar. More power with this unit than an EV30M. Overall you can't go wrong. It really comes down to preference of brand. This unit for the price is the best bang for your buck.
Great PA. I bought two.

I purchased two of these. I use one for solo gigs at smaller/med venues. And use two for band gigs, larger venues and outdoors. Great sound for both vocals and guitar. Only negative I would say is JBL should have included a better cover or carry system for the woofer. They just provided a cheap cover that does not even have a cut out for the handle. So really unusable.
