Ultimate Support JamStands Low Profile Mic Stand With Fixed Boom

Very simply put, the mic stand works just as any other. Very well constructed and the low profile allows me to mic cabinets or cajon drums that need a lower mic stand. It is a must for those two situations.

HORRIBLE!

These are garbage. I bought four of these stands to mic my drum kit in my studio. The kick drum stand was for an RE20 but the boom had to be duc-tapped because it keeps falling and the stand itself needed a sandbag because it can't support the weight of the mic. The snare mic works okay--it's holding an SM57, but the ribbon mics overhead, forget it! Once again, they I had to duc tape the booms and tie the stands themselves to my ceiling because they cannot support the weight of the mic. These stands cannot hold anything heavier than a thin condenser, or barely a 57. They should have given the buyer this important information before making a purchase, BEWARE! I'm chalking this one up to my stupidity and dumping out more money for some REAL mic stands.

Got this to use when mic'ing drums. It's light weight and compact for travel. It seems to be sturdy enough, but haven't had the opportunity to put it through the paces yet.

  • I would buy it again

I bought this however, what cable do I need to connect it to a amp? I have a amp that my son uses that connects to his guitar but it does not seem to connect to this.

This is just a mic stand, there's nothing to connect to anything else included with it.

1-How long is each of the three feets?

They are 6" for each leg. The boom arm is fully telescoping.

No. The stand attaches to the sides of the mic, and I don't believe they may a clip wide enough for it to click to.
