The Nostalgia '50s Ride by Istanbul Mehmet is a throwback cymbal hand-crafted in the traditional Turkish style and delivers an excellent vintage sound reminiscent of the legendary 50's Turkish jazz ride. This weighty cymbal produces a darker yet fresh tone with a woody stick definition. Additionally, the cymbal offers a bigger and sharper bell than those of the 70's, while sporting an umbrella type profile.

    I was looking for an old school 50's - 60's Jazz sound. Relatively thin and very responsive. Dark with a good cushion and nice stick definition. It just sounds great and love it!
