I have owned this uke for three years. The tone and sound are excellent. I am a long-time guitarist band adjusted the action slightly by filing the nuts slots. My love affair with this uke continues after all this time. Great uke great value. Couldn't recommend it more.

i just opened the box ten minutes ago but i can already tell i have a new favorite! the wood is beautiful and has a great quality,i was worried the gigbag wouldnt be great but it feels strong and has a good padded lining. of course the strings slip but thats typical since they are so new. i love the sound that the uke produces! it has a nice hawiian feel to it and is more attractive then the picture lead me to believe. i'm very happy with my purchase

The sound is good and gets better with playing. As far as the strings not staying in tune, that is typical of new strings. I experience the same thing with my classical guitar for a day or two after putting new strings. At least until the new strings settle down. I did change to Aquila strings (Guitar Center needs to stock these) The bag is not much for protection and the ukulele fits very snug. It was difficult to get it in the first few times. I will be buying a hard case.

I ordered the uke in march, and ibanez took their sweet time sending it to guitar center before it was shipped to me. I am very impatient, but i must admit it was worth the wait. Great sound, good quality all around, and really fun to play.

I have had this uke for about a month now,and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality you get for the price; Not to mention the features it has.(Sapele Body,Mahogany Fretboard w/inlay markers,Chrome Geared Tuners,Ibanez Gig Bag,and GHS Hawaiian Black Nylon Strings)IN A CONCERT SIZE for $79.99????It has a warm rich sound, and the slight radius of the fretboard makes it comfortable to play for extended periods.I recommend this uke' to anyone just starting out or wanting to move up in size or quality!

Being a newcomer to the ukulele market,I was wondering what an Ibanez uke' would feel and sound like. I've had a Willem soprano ukulele mdl#WEU for a little over 2 years, now; And decided it was time to step up in size & quality, without breaking the bank.LOL I did alot of online research and finally decided on the Ibanez UKC10;To my surprise,it IS an awsome uke' for the money! The slight radius of the fretboard makes it a pleasure to play, and the sound/tone is exceptional. Besides the listed features,(Sapele body,Mahogany neck,Rosewood bridge & fretboard, chrome geared tuners,"Ibanez"gig bag, etc.)It also comes with "GHS Hawaiian Black Nylon Strings"!!!(I purchased a set of Martin M-600 strings, just in case)But,I love the tone of the GHS strings!(I recommend getting a clip-on chromatic tuner,it took about 3-5 days to properly stretch the strings).....Overall,I feel this is ONE of the BEST uke's currently on the market for under $100!

All the reviews of this product (Ibanez UKC10 Concert Ukulele) mention that it came with a gig bag, but the product listing says that the case is sold separately -- which is it? Thanks, John
Yes, it does come with a gig bag. We'll get that updated online.
