I own this flanger it is pretty good, besides the battery it doent last long, if your using it in a concert i suggest changing it before you go on. It has a good chorus, but i like the flanger, you can play things like have a cigar,on normal or put it on krazy and have a fuzzy flickering noise

I played professionally for 26 years and then left the music business for 20 years. I am now getting back into it and this little device is a great effects pedal. I once had a huge effects board when I played and now this Ibanez Chorus/Flanger coupled with my Fender amp that has built in Echo and Distortion, this is the only addition I needed to bring out the best with my Telecaster. The price of this "gem" is a bargain!
Psychedelic pedal!!

If you like psychedelic rock a la Pink Floyd, this is a great pedal. The flanger effect sounds just like those twangy sounds in songs found in Dark Side of the moon (Breathe, Us and Them, Brain Damage). Experimenting with this one is fun as well!
Chorus, Flange, Temolo, Ringmod

This thing is versatile. It's a jack of all trades, you might say. Unfortunately, a master of none... The chorus is pretty good. It's shiney and bright and gets the job done. Nothing special about it, though. The flange does one thing: Airplane wooshes. It does them great, actually, but it's just not versatile enough. In whack mode, it becomes a tremolo at lower settings... Not a versatile one. But it gets the job done. In heavier settings it sounds like a quirky ringmod. Not versatile, but I have to admit, really cool! Not a great pedal. It's okay. I use it, but there's better options out there.
Not Too Shabby

Im generally not too fond of the Ibanez line of effects pedals but this one is a step ahead of the others. I play in a band with a similar sound to Incubus and this pedal has the potential to deliver all the spacey wierd effects that I crave. The standard Chorus or Flanger effects alone make the pedal worth it (chorus is better than the flanger) but when you switch on the "Wacked" effect it functions as a Ring Modulator and other off the wall effects. For the price you really can't beat it.
