Featuring a mahogany body attached to a Wizard III neck, the JEMJR offers many of the JEMs distinguishing characteristics; the H/S/H pickup configuration, the Tree of Life inlay, a double locking tremolo system, and, of course, the famous Monkey grip and Lion's Claw tremolo cavity. I use this to play in my band and just to jam at home. Feels like a million bucks in my hands. I also own a 2012 Gibson Les Paul Standard, and it keeps up with it without even trying. Sound is crisp and clear, and rough when you want it to be. Can't wait to get another.

I purchased this Jem Jr thinking a great bargain. That's not the case. Cheap hardware, very poor quality, goes out of tune. I am not impressed. Had to modify this guitar with upgraded pick ups, trem and tuners. This definitely made improvements. People make sure you play first before buying. My mistake was buying online. Lesson Learned...
Just OK - but is an affordable lefty JEM

Nice frets and action. Not so great is the pickguard - should have been the pearloid like on the higher end JEM. How much could that have cost? And the pickups are very not so great.
