I am in my mid 50s and have decided to learn guitar. I seem to be able to fret this one easier with fewer muted strings. While it sounds good to me, y friends that have played guitars for decades are impressed with it. Wish I could give you more, but I am a 'newbie'.

  • I had no intentions on buying an Ibanez…but I did.

Went into my local to pickup 1 of 3 PRS SE that they were advertising. While testing out all 3 I kept noticing this beautiful Ibanez on the wall. Also noticed it was around the same price. I said to myself well while I'm here , just try it out. GOOD MOVE! Although the PRS was nice. They felt cheap and plastic compared to the Ibanez. I kept going back and forth playing all 4 guitars, driving my sales guy crazy. It was just so obvious how much better the Ibanez played. Never mind the sound. A DiMarzio Tonezone at the bridge and two True Velvet's in the middle and at the neck. You can get whatever sound you want with that diversity. Oh ya btw, my back still thanks me. This guitar weighs nothing. Ibanez for the win!

When I was buying an Ibanez sew761 I thought I'd get a good quality guitar considering I have a PRS in the same price point that is far better built. My Ibanez showed up with numerous little blemishes and even miscolored hardware and the bridge wasn't even bolted in completely. Would not recommend.
