Ibanez

collapse expand iconDescription

The Ibanez Axion Label S671ALB was made for metal, but offers much more for adventurous players. The Axion Label’s body is Nyatoh, known for its tight, straight grain. The extremely rigid, super-thin and ultra-playable Nitro Wizard 5-piece panga panga/walnut neck substantially increases sustain, with a macassar ebony fretboard for a quick response and tight low-end. Frets are Sub Zero-treated to stand up against the hardest riffing and string-bending. Luminescent side dot inlays match the headstock logo and will make it easy for you to perform on dark stages. You’ll do so without a hint of noise, thanks to the S671ALB’s Fishman Fluence multi-voiced pickups. Dual modern humbuckers take the neck and bridge positions—one alnico, the other ceramic—while a Fluence Single Width mans the middle. The voicing switch allows the Fluence pickups to switch from a modern, active high output sound to one that’s crisp, clean and fluid. The Axion Label S671ALB uses a Gibraltar Standard II string-thru bridge for optimal transfer of each string’s vibration. Gotoh MG-T locking tuners provide tuning accuracy and efficient string changing. Finally, Schaller S-Lock strap locks will hold your strap securely but allow for quick removal in a pinch. In short, the Ibanez S671ALB represents a new path for the modern guitarist. Arm yourself with the Axion Label and get ready to break some new ground.

Needed a setup when I got it, as the factory pickup height was too high, once that was done it is an excellent guitar. Great tone with a lot of versatility in the tone. Kills it at metal and high gain, but will still punch above its weight in clean tones.

  • Wiring is cheap

Less than 3 months after purchase and very minimal use there is intermittent loss of sound from the pickups. I have to mess around with the input jack to get the sound bakc

This guitar has so many tonal possibilities! It boggles the mind! This has an amazing neck, (I'll admit I love Ibanez guitars!), and the blue chameleon finish has to be seen. Could not be happier with a guitar than I am right now.

This guitar is one of the prettiest Ibanez models. It is very light and sleek and feels very natural. The fretboard is super-fast. Feels like this guitar is born to shred. The tone is a little sharper than my old Ibanez RG-320DX. The Fishman pickups generate both warm and bright sounds depending in what combo you select. In general the sound is a little on the dark side. Great for metal.

First off, the color of this guitar is awesome. The Fishman Fluence pickups are great and the guitar plays very smoothly. The issues I have are these. I paid this price for what I thought was a brand new guitar. But I found out that the store just took it off the wall at their shop and wrapped some bubble wrap around it and shipped it. There is a blemish on the guitar like it got scraped. Was told I would be given a discount for that but haven't seen a dime. Another issue is the strap locks weren't even on the guitar. I did get a new set sent to me from GC. The only other thing about the guitar is the volume knob feels cheap for a guitar at this price.

I am looking for a hard case for this guitar - any recommendations? The sizing is confusing for a newbie like myself. Thanks!

I didn't see if a case was included. I think at the $1200 range a case should come with it. Can someone let me know for sure

Listing just says that guitar is blemished. Is blemish to paint, bare wood, body, neck, head stock, front or back? Is it a scratch, dent? Please elaborate.

Unfortunately additional pictures are unavailable. Blemishes are slight and do not affect the tone or play ability of the instrument.
