Ibanez

Description

The Prestige RGD3121 from Ibanez is an ultimate metal machine that meets the demands of down-tuning for a specifically designed responsiveness not found in "normal" guitars. To optimize for the rich, desirable thickness of tone that down-tuning produces, the neck has been extended by one inch to a 26.5" scale. Longer than standard yet not overly long, the neck is still considered a "fast" neck for speed soloing. Extra-deep cutaways grant comfortable access to the neck's highest notes.

The Prestige RGD3121 is built with a basswood body paired to a Wizard HP maple/wenge neck and ebony fretboard for tight lows and mids, along with a strong attack in the highs. Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers provide aggressive tone and a powerful attack without excess noise, while a Mono-rail bridge provides both stability and sustain. Plus, a Fishman Fluence voicing switch allows the pickups to switch from a modern, active high-output sound to a crisp, clean and fluid sound.

A hardshell case is included for portable protection between gigs.

I got a returned or a display guitar instead of a new one. 1. Misaligned neck, unequal distance to the high and low E strings, buzz frets. 2. Pickups are crooked in the cavities, protecting plastic was obviously reused, dried glue under the pickup's cover. 3. Intonation adjustment bolts are made out of cheese. 4. Long black line along the neck splits it into 2 parts of different color, looks dirty. 5. Missing plastic covering metallic plates at the back of the guitar.
