Ibanez

Description

The RG421AHM features an ash body sparkling highs and beefy lows, and it’s complemented by the distinction of a maple fretboard, which, as tone aficionados know well, yields a shade more “bite” to the guitar’s voice.

As the originators of the thin, fast neck, the Wizard III is yet another achievement in player comfort—comfort that translates into maximizing player performance.

A pair of proprietary Quantum pickups produces an entire palette of thick, distorted tone textures that offer exceptional high-end articulation. A simple, yet solid fixed bridge provides stable, dependable tuning and accurate intonation. Case sold separately.

I have this guitar for 6 months now and it's a fun one to play. It stays in tune, looks amazing and plays well. I'm looking into upgrading the pickup's but it's a solid guitar.

I bought this guitar a couple of years ago and absolutely love it. The color is a little more green than blue, and the top is beautiful. It stays in tune well and is easy and fun to play. The 5 way switch is nice and gives it a bit of flexibility. This is my first Ibanez, and I really like it. The only gripe I have is that it's a bit heavy.

Bought this used at GC for my first guitar - the build and color were awesome. Really enjoyed playing this for about a year before I upgraded. Great for rock and metal music

This guitar is beautiful and its sound is fantastic, neck is awesome and fretboard is great, pickups are good…but it is Very Heavy,I'd say around 10 pounds and also the body is too chunky and therefore not comfortable to play.Maybe this guitar will be good fit for a large player. I returned it today and got me another Ibanez. Guitar center were very helpful, they are alright!

I LOVE this guitar. It's beautiful with great tone and excellent playability. The only problem I see out of the box is that the fret edges are sharp but a few passes of a fine grit sanding sponge will fix that. Otherwise the neck is straight, action is great!

When palm muting on this guitar, can you pick past the bridge pickups into the space between the pickups easily? In other words, is it easy to palm mute and not hit the bridge pickups?

    Open Reply - Ronald
You should be able to. Worst case scenario if the space isn't enough it can be adjusted.
