Ibanez RG3EXQM1 Quilted Maple Top Electric Guitar Transparent Red Sunburst

Description
Since 1987, many players have selected the Ibanez RG as their weapon of choice for visiting sonic mayhem on the metal masses. With the right choice of pickups plus flat and fast necks, the RG has crunched its way to classic status. To the RG's lethal combination of features, RG Prestige models add the comfortable, rounded feel of Prestige neck finishing, drop-dead good looks and great electronics and hardware.
24 jumbo frets offer easy playing for leads and chording, and a fixed bridge design offers thru-body stringing for stronger tone and sustain. Features 2 EMG-designed humbuckers and a bolt-on 3-piece maple neck with a headstock to match the body. The quilted maple top and shark tooth inlays on a 25-1/2"-scale rosewood fingerboard give it a striking both sweet and dangerous look. 24 jumbo frets deliver insane playability for riffers and shredders alike.

Killer tone-looks-feel
Can't beat the price for a guitar that looks and sounds like this one. Only negatives are the neck and headstock binding are painted and not real and the tuners don't feel as secure as my Jackson did. But, when you plug this thing up into a Vox AD30VT amp it screams and growls with rich tone and SUSTAIN that doesn't quit.I researched for a long time before buying and this one kept coming back to me. If you are unsure about which guitar you want, go give this one a play...you will walk out of the store with one like I did. And it looks HOT.

Awesome Sustain, Slick, Fast Neck

I'm not an expert but I know what I hear and feel! This neck is amazing. It reminds me of high quality pool cue smoothness. Great action, great sound. Stays in tune rather well. I think I'd be happier with my sound if I switched to a tube amp since the guitar has active EMG's. I use a solid state Behrninger GMX212 amp currently. I spent my savings on the guitar, not thinking that I should couple it with a great amp. Sometimes I wish I had Floyd Rose Trem., but what you get in intense sustain for rock/metal is worth it to me I guess.

Pretty Good Guitar

This guitar is an excellent guitar for someone who is planning on playing metal and only metal. Its metal tone is absolutely beastly, but it really is lacking on clean. This guitar will blow you away with its metal tone, but disappoint you with its lackluster clean sound. My advice: buy it if you're strictly a metal player and nothing else.

It was last year when i was walking around in guitar center. Trying to find a nice new guitar because i have talking guitar to an all new and better level, when i stumbled upon this ibanez. As soon as a looked at it i saw the nice smooth white outline and the neat design on the nice maple wood solid body. It felt really nice with a really nice tone for any kind of rock. The neck was soft and smooth and perfect for lead guitar. So i bought it. And now its great to use it. Even in humid weathers the tuning nobs dont loose tune often. Its really light also.

This guitar is a great buy for the price. Amazing sound, sustain and look as well as playability. I bought mine around 2 years ago and ive dropped it many times and it sounds the same as when i bought it. I defenitely recommend you buy this guitar. As a primary guitar OR a backup, its great. sturdy, not too heavy and the EMG's sound awsome.
