Still purchasing, but had to DIG a bit for all facts

Guitar Center answered my question regarding whether that it is or is NOT QUILTED top as it somewhat appears. So how is the "quilted look" accomplished? is that grey paint sprayed in such a way as to just make it look like it is? In other words, it's not just blue and white. It has grey "veins" in it that give a quilted appearance. And if you look at several of them at the same time, they are not identical. Each has a different amount, and a different pattern of those grey "veins" on it. (I have not seen one "in-person", only in photos) Now I need to re-decide whether I want more grey-veins-quilted-look or less...although I still am inclined to select THAT model (52X HSS instead over 54 HH...both because it is HSS AND because it is an X with slanted (not multi-scale though) frets. Love the IBANEZ quality...over a Legator 'Iris Fade' for example, but I find it curious that one has to dig a little bit to find out that those grey veins LOOK like might be quilted but are not. And those slanted frets LOOK like might be multi-scale but are not. That is IBANEZ fabrication though...Guitar Center doesn't fabricate the actual instrument. Both GC and IB MARKET them though. We as customers have so many choices that I just want to make sure I know exactly what I am spending my money on. I appreciate GC responding to my question about whether those grey "veins" are quilted or not, and I WILL select ONE headless Ibanez sometime today...almost certainly a Blue Sphere with it's HSS configuration and slanted frets. Would prefer I didn't have to go to YouTube to get ALL of the info. My 4 stars instead of 5 is because of that. If I could, I would give 4.5 stars because the product is VERY worthwhile. The marketing leaves a tad to be desired about this Bad Lad.
