For the money, it is an all around great guitar

I love my Jiva10, but I really like the eye-catching blue on the JivaJr which if I am to be honest is one of the reasons I went for it. First thing I noticed is the JivaJr has definitely gone on a weight loss diet. There is a very noticeable weight difference between the two with the JivaJr being much lighter in weight. I don't have a scale to weigh the difference, but you would easily notice if side by side. Right out of the box the guitar was ready to go and in tune which I thought was strange. My Jiva10 arrived half assembled and dirty definitely needing some TLC... (See that review). The JivaJr is definitely missing some appointments like binding, and artist pickups for example, but that was noted in ads. Volume and Tone knobs feel too tight and also like they're dragging on sandpaper. Sound is a little different from the Jiva10, but I like it and the play-ability is still there. The neck feels very smooth, and pickup selector feels the same as the Jiva10. For half the money and less weight than the Jiva10 it is a great guitar for a beginner, or as a less expensive back-up. As for the rest of us it is just an addiction to add to the collection. My only real gripe is Ibanez's output jack location on the face. While this looks slick and fits the body for cables it creates a problem. If you have a Line 6 amp (I don't) or Yamaha THRII30 wireless (I do) the G10 wireless Relay is not going to fit. If only Line 6/Yamaha or Ibanez would only sell a ¼" mono male-to-¼" mono female straight (not 90 degree) adapter to work as a solution. I have yet to find one through GC or the internet. Stereo to Mono and Vice versa does not work, but the guitar plays great outside of that issue.

I am looking at ordering the Jivajr. My question is, if I preorder a guitar through you, do you do a player set up or just pass on the factory boxed guitar?
This guitar only comes with a standard factory setup.
