Not what I was looking for

I could not get a decent sound out of this pedal. The bass was flubby, and the high end too buzzy. I watched videos of this pedal and it seemed to be great for that nice 80's rock/metal, but I couldn't get there or it was too far and a fuzz mess.
Wonderful distortion

This is a wonderful pedal that is totally worth the money. I was using an old overdrive pedal to play Metallica with my band until I bought this pedal. It is exponentially better. It is versatile and can be used for several types of distortion. This pedal is the sound I spent months looking for. With its small design it fits perfectly on my board. You do need a power source for it which is fine for me because I have a daisy chain. It is true bypass and makes no sound when bypassed though like all distortion pedals if it is on you'll notice it. I set most of the controls to in between 3 and 4 o'clock for a heavy distortion that wasn't over distorted. This is a great pedal!
