The EHB1005F multi-scale bass from Ibanez features headless construction, contoured body, an ergonomic design and chambered body that make for a lightweight and comfortable instrument excellent for long sets or practice sessions. This ergonomic 5-string bass also sports a combination of high-quality tone woods and versatile electronics, resulting in a cutting-edge, ultramodern instrument capable of cutting though a complex landscape of tones. An American basswood body is paired with a 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck and Richlite fretboard for durability and moisture resistance. Equipped with Bartolini BH2 pickups, the EHB1005F bass provides a tight bottom end, punchy mid-range and smooth response with a dual-coil configuration that maximizes articulation. Additional features include an MR5HS bridge, Vari-mid 3-band EQ and a detachable finger ramp for comfortable fingerpicking.

Absolutely love this bass. Sounds good and feels good on my hands. Though the case that came with it tore in two weeks. I'd recommend getting a nicer case to store your expensive instrument.

The determining factor is where the saddles are positioned. They are not even.
