Ibanez Andy Timmons Signature Premium Electric Guitar Sunburst Matte

Ibanez heat treats the roasted maple neck and fretboard of the Timmons Signature to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance of temperature changes. The fingerboard edges are finished with a smooth curve, making it as comfortable as an old pair of blue jeans. Timmons specs jumbo frets for bending ease and enhanced sustain.
The heart of the Andy Timmons Signature resides in his pickup selection. A DiMarzio The Cruiser sits in the neck position, delivering sweet single-coil tones with open, vocal-sounding mids and added strength in the bass. The bridge position AT-1 humbucker supplies warmth and clarity—a perfect balance for The Cruiser. A coil-tap switch reduces the output of both pickups for more sonic variety.
Andy chose alder for the body, a well-balanced, resonant tonewood. His go-to for tuners is Gotoh—MG-T locking machine heads offer tuning stability and quick string changes. A Wilkinson WV6-SB tremolo bridge transfers tone into the body with its 6-screw pivot system, while playing like a smooth 2-pivot trem. The Ibanez Andy Timmons Signature ATZ10P comes with gig bag designed specifically to fit and protect this instrument.

This guitar has quickly became one of my favorite instruments. The satin body feels silky smooth. The neck has excellent fretwork! The back of the neck glides beautifully. The treble bleed on the volume knob is excellent! It maintains the high end in a pleasing way. Works great with fuzzes, overdrives, etc. The pickups are stellar! I love how the Dimarzios sound. The chopper gives an excellent single coil sound with no hum! The only thing about this instrument is that it did need a setup out of the box, though that has been the case for any instrument I've bought so far. They are coming from overseas so it is to be expected. Thankfully this guitar does come with a wonderful Ibanez multi-tool for easy set up! I would gladly purchase this instrument again!
