Ibanez

collapse expand iconDescription

Ibanez created the Artwood Series to be an ode to their rich tradition of acoustic guitars while adding the modern accoutrements needed by today's guitarist. The left-handed AW54CEOPN acoustic-electric guitar is a visual stunner with a solid okoume top (with okoume back, sides, and neck) and an open pore natural finish that really shows off the okoume's beautiful woodgrain. Adding to its aesthetic charm is a black and white multi-rosette, a cutaway that helps you access the entire nyatoh fingerboard, a laurel bridge with bone saddle, tortoise pickguard and chrome die-cast 18:1 tuners.

The okoume construction provides you with plenty of warmth naturally, but when you need to plug in, the AW54CEOPN acoustic-electric guitar has a Fishman Sonicore pickup and Ibanez's AEQ-TP2 preamp that features a simple 2-band control, which makes adjusting the sound easy while providing plenty of bottom. It also has a phase switch for reducing feedback and user-friendly onboard tuner.

A case is sold separately.

I love this guitar so much. I play it everyday. The electronics sound awesome when plugged in to any amp. I use Martin medium strings and they sparkle. Many compliments from band members who own Martins and Taylors but I smile cause it costs me a fraction of the price. Bought it a year ago so it's a solid review.

The Road Runner RRDWA Deluxe Wood Dreadnought Acoustic Case would work well and be a good choice for use with this left handed guitar.
