Ibanez

Description

The AAD50CE grand dreadnought from Ibanez was designed to deliver a rich, bright and loud tone with a wide dynamic range. With slightly larger than typical proportions, this reinvented design achieves a superb, powerful sound, and thanks to the extensive consideration given to the ergonomics, it’s extremely comfortable to play. This model is built with a spruce top and sapele body paired with an okoume neck and Purpleheart fingerboard and bridge for a natural, warm tone and rich tonal character. An Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into, while an Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides the extra punch of on-board EQ along with a convenient and easy-to-read digital tuner and 2-band EQ, located on the instrument’s upper bout.

Grabbed one of these on sale for my son who's learning how to play and was blown away by the quality. Buying budget beginner guitars can be a crap shoot but this one looks and sounds like a guitar twice the price. Minimal set up needed out of the box, just grab it and go!

Amazingly beautiful guitar. Top notch finish. Looks like top end Taylor guitar. Got so excited. But, when I played it I was SO disappointed. There's no sound. It sounds exactly like Baby guitar. I compared sound to Yamaha FGX800C. There's no match. Yamaha looks okay but sounds amazingly beautiful.
