I needed a microphone low to high impedance adapter. Guitar center had just what I needed. I ordered the item and it arrived in a very timely manner. The product worked out perfectly for what I needed. The adapter gives my recordings the proper sound and volume I needed.

Investing in microphone Impedance transformer will make 55SH or any other various mics universal to various types of equipment with outstanding results. Some situations straight thru other situations require the impedance transformer, you have try it one way or the other to obtain the optimum result. Not all mics have the same output impedance and the equipment the same input impedance that is where the microphone transformer is essential to expand the use of any microphone to any tasking. I recommend that anyone who has difficulty with the operation of any microphone or just make a mic universal you ought to invest in a microphone impedance transformer, the transformer is a good option to have on hand from karaoke fun to the amateur radio station or other particular universal use.

I've tried 2 of these now and they both worked great for a while but both started huming after a while. I suppose the transformer laminations come loose after a while. I think I'll try a shure A85F and hope it lasts longer.
