Not worth it. Here's why.

Ok, these harps have a few good things going for them. I think it only fair to list them first. Then we will get on to why I would NOT buy these again and what I would do knowing what I know now. The first nice point about these harps is obviously their price point. Who doesnt want a decent couple of harps for less than 30 dollars? They also come in a handy little padded case that keeps them fairly protected. I also LOVE the swooped up grip on the back side. Maybe its just me but I get a good grip on them. They also have a fair tone. Ok, now the bad. The case AND the harps smell/taste aweful. After you blow/draw in one you will understand what I mean. They are very cheap materials so life expectancy is short, I assume. Also, the notes dont all sound. Had I know all this I would have bought another lee oscar or a special twenty or even a bluesman. Invest in something that will last you a little while or try these if you just want a toy.

Beautiful sound and a Great look. Came in early and packaged very well. Great for a gift or a jam session... It's no wonder Junior Wells endorsed these, just wow.

Needs ALOT of breath to get a sound on inhale notes. I haven't played a harmonica in a while but I couldn't remember all the air sounds that I was experiencing with these. Was it me, I thought, or the harmonica? The next day I went back to Guitar Center to buy a Silver Creek \ Ironworks harmonica. Totally different playing experience. Bottom Line: Skip the Blues Hoodoos. Looks like a good deal but not worth the cheap price.
