Hands-free Harping
This harmonica holder really gives you that Troubadour vibe. I have used it while playing on stage and just about everywhere else. Even after about a year of use, the springs have not weakened and the harmonica holder is still solid. Buy this harmonica holder, you will not regret it.

It does the job. . . . .
I purchased this and it does work, but not great. It seems to be constructed fairly well for the price, but my Hohner blues harp doesn't fit in it all that well. If you play more than one song with it, it seems to slip around a bit. You'd think they would've improved the design by now. It's kind of an awkward contraption, but does the job.

I have only had this harmonica holder for about a week, but it works as intended. It seems to be made from quality materials. I took the plastic wing nut off and it has a brass insert in it, so the threads won't strip. I have played guitars for many years and harmonica for just a couple of years, but I thought I would try playing them both at the same time, since I'm sure it will take a lot of time to learn.
would by again

Hohner's professional solution for hands free playing of standard 10, 12 and 14 hole diatonic harmonicas as well as Echo harps up 96 reeds!. This secure, sturdy and comfortable design fits any neck size and affords unlimited positioning for comfortable play!. And I use to have the "HH01 Holder" here! and it's got lost or stolen and never being found!. And A,B,C,D,E,F,G is the best Harmonicas holder ever made in the Germany country for the U.S.A. designer here today my new friend!!!!!. And also you can also play the guitar or the keyboard at the same time as you blow into the harmonicas here!!!!!.

Started out great! Just what I needed to play guitar and harmonica at the same time. But after owning it for only a few months one of the swinging clips (the one on the right) that hold the harmonica in place became pretty loose. Now with no way to tighten it whenever I get up to the high notes the harmonica starts slipping out of the holder! This is very frustrating when playing and my holder is practically unusable in its current state. I'll be picking up either the smaller Hohner 10-hole holder or the Lee Oskar 10-hole holder soon since I don't play on any larger harmonicas. Those look like they only have springs and from reading reviews are even said to be too tight! I'll take that over my harmonicas sliding out of my holder any day!
Is it Hohner or Harder ?

I have found that this particular Hohner Harmonica Holder is improperly shaped for an accessible reach when performing with my harmonica. I play the guitar, and I use a harmonica holder. The angle and pitch of the harp when it is held in place inside the spring loaded rack is incorrect. If you like looking at the floor when you play the harp in a confined and cramped position, it's fine. The spring loaded side bars are much too short, and are improperly shaped with no bend in the form to accommodate a comfortable reach, as well. Also, the harp is not held in a completely stable position by the spring loaded holder during play: too much slippage on a slippery surface. However, the overall look and appearance is nice. If the overall metal shaping were properly addressed and given due attention, I believe that the product would come alive and accommodate the performing individual, and not the other way around.
