Description

The 12-hole chromatic Hohner #7539 Hard Bopper Chromatic Harmonica was designed and constructed to specifications provided by harmonica legend Toots Thielemans. Toots recommends the Hard Bopper's thicker reedplate for blues or rock. The Hard Bopper harmonica's reed design permits the articulate, fast runs demanded by jazz. The Hohner #7539 Hard Bopper harp features a pearwood comb and chromeplating on both covers and mouthpiece.

    I got this very quickly through GC. Comes in a nice plastic box with a printed letter from Toots. Looks great, feels great. It DOES have windsavers, even though it's not mentioned in the description or specs here. Sounds beautiful. I have 3 chromatics, (Educator 10 and Super 64) and this is my favorite. You may want to adjust depending on your style, and how hard you play. Otherwise, nothing wrong with this harmonica. A great choice for any player.
