Toots recommends the Hard Bopper's thicker reedplate for blues or rock. The Hard Bopper harmonica's reed design permits the articulate, fast runs demanded by jazz. The Hohner #7539 Hard Bopper harp features a pearwood comb and chromeplating on both covers and mouthpiece.
